Christmas tree ornaments Lyra cage with bird - Replica from our series "Old German Forms". Lyra cage with bird decorates the Christmas tree since 1920, as symbol for the nature. Birds on the Christmas tree lure back the migratory birds after home and also the Spring comes back. Thir form is free shaped glass, so without blowing into an iron mold. In center is half a glass ball with 1 glass bird with fiberglass tail. The whole thing is with Leonean wire wound. Also, the silvering is a big challenge to the artist. In primary color silver.  For attachment to a Christmas tree, has this form a metal clip. In high quality as eye catching on the Christmas tree from our collectors series Lauschaer form, of course, marked with 3 points. Glass from Lauscha Thüringen, made by hand: (blown off the lamp, hand shaped, hand painted).
